HORNDEAN SUCCESS AT SPF EXHIBITION
 The SPF holds its annual exhibition at Salisbury each year, and we had received some criticism from our members that the standard of our presentation was less than good enough. So this year we pulled out all the stops and it has clearly been worth it! Shown left is Deborah Moore receiving the certificate for Third Best Panel of Prints from SPF President, Ian Bigg LRPS CPAGB. There were 39 club panels. Click here to view our panel.  The highlight of the event for us was the award for 2nd Best Colour Print in the Exhibition to Horndean member Glenys Kill. Hearty congratulations to Glenys, whose print, "Docklands Station", is shown here. So, with the smell of success in our nostrils, can we build on this and achieve best panel at the 2008 exhibition? With the ever increasing standard of work that we are seeing at our competitions, there is certainly no reason to think it is beyond us. So let's go for it! |
