REG RICKETTS HONOURED BY HCC AND THE SPF

After far too many years helping to pull the HCC cart, including eighteen years serving on the committee and the last five years as Chairman, members of the club agreed that Reg Ricketts should, at last, be allowed to stand down and take a well deserved rest.

Secretary Mike Parry announced at last season's AGM that Reg is to be made a life member in recognition of his great contribution to the club's success over the years, a decision which received the wholehearted support of all present.

But there was still another surprise to come when, at our annual presentation of prizes, SPF President, Ian Bigg LRPS CPAGB awarded Reg a certificate to mark his addition to the Southern Photographic Federation Roll of Honour.

Well done, Reg - and very well deserved!
